Imogene Morrow-Goodman

About Me

Imogene Morrow-Goodman started out in music by playing the recorder for 9 years in school. She went on to learn to play the drums when she was 7. This opened her up to many opportunities in the future. She has played in concerts and competitions with her secondary schools Percussion Ensemble. When she was 13, she grew an interest in guitar and started learning at school. She finished instrument lessons in her final year of school at the age of 16. She went on to do a Music Technology course at one of her local colleges. She started teaching herself how to play bass guitar and keyboard with her time at college.

 

Imogene got into the technology side of music at the of age 15, by re-creating the pop song Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis and spending time in her schools' studio. She has built up her mixing skills on the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), GarageBand. When she started college she built more skills and knowledge in Live Sound, Studio work, Mixing and Mastering, Creating and Designing sounds and sound effects. She has learnt to use DAWs like Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Reaper and Ableton Live. She has also helped out with college gigs by being the sound technician for the gig.

 

Imogene has mixed and mastered music for artists at her college. She has also created her own music and uploaded it to websites like SoundCloud and YouTube.
